"Las Grietas" the small canyon of Lanzarote

Here is a very suggestive and little-known place that you must visit.
Las Grietas is a small canyon located between the villages of Tias and San Bartolomé, a narrow fracture in the volcanic crust whose contours have been made sinuous by wind erosion over the years.
There are two canyons within a short distance of each other, but Las Grietas is definitely more scenic.
It is possible either to enter it on foot or to see it from above. Doing both allows you to fully enjoy the natural spectacle that this place offers.
HOW TO GET THERE
ON FOOT. You can reach Las Grietas the small canyon of Lanzarote on foot. If you want to take an unforgettable walk, this route is perfect for you. Set up Google Maps, then walk out of Casa MIALMA Lanzarote, pass in front of the little church of Conil, have breakfast at the Teleclub and continue straight on, you will see the road turn from paved to dirt. Enjoy the light, the sea view and the dark earth. in 53 minutes of flat walking in nature you arrive at Las Grietas.
BY CAR, 8 minutes from Casa MIALMA Lanzarote. Google Maps shows you the direction and where to park to visit Las Grietas. In a few minutes' walk you arrive at the mouth of the canyon.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION to get here is not recommended.
